The Ride4Hugo Prologue

4 June 2022

The Ride4Hugo Prologue is in memory of Hugo Yaxley, who tragically died in a car accident in November 2020. Hugo was a big advocate of facing up to mental health issues, and changing the stigma attached to it. Ride4Hugo aims to raise £24,000 and awareness for 4 great charities.

The Prologue goes from Hugo’s home town of Bristol to his old school, Marlborough College.

The Route

The 122km route crosses over the world famous Clifton Suspension bridge heading down through the Mendip hills, before rolling west through Wiltshire and on to Marlborough. The exact route will be announced in early 2022.

The Start

The start takes place in Clifton, Bristol. It is served by Bristol Temple Meads Railway station, we advise against driving as parking is very limited.

The Post Ride Picnic

Marlborough will be at the post ride picnic, with live music, food and drinks. Friends and family are encouraged to meet the riders afterwards to celebrate Hugo’s life. Details will be released in early 2022.
